For the time-poor, the caffeine hitters, the Italians. Feeling I need to be a part of the culture when I’m alfresco in the summertime in Italy, I’ll opt for the small but mighty. Yet, I’ll then find myself asking for a dash of milk and heck, a cup of hot water too. What a p*ssy! I admire those who will inevitably have coffee breath in this routine, as I am not hardcore enough to be a part of the espresso club. One day, I tell myself, I will be as authentic as these patrons.
