(2022) Adriano Piazzesi’s 1970’s armchair “Okay”. But mini - for me anyway. Usually, I take mini things and draw them super large but this is my first take at a photo realistic baby object. I mean, how cute.

Piazzesi was an Italian industrial designer from who operated in the furniture sector in Florence for about half a century. His name is linked to several editions of the Salone del Mobile exhibition in Milan and many other exhibitions in Paris and Frankfurt.

Framing

Framed within a white shadow box frame with a floated mount and 2 or 3.5 inch reveal. With museum grade UV fitering plexiglass.

This is my favorite way to frame, the white wood is simple and clean and the shadow box/floated mount makes the paper appear floating, not touching the back board nor glass.

All framing is by the great team at Tribeca Print Works in NYC.
