It had been explained to me as the taste of the ocean. That never appealed to me, as a descriptor. Same goes for oysters. I’ve never gulped a mouthful of sea water, to which I’ve done countless times, and thought… how tasty, what a delight! Therefore, my description of the delicacy is of its texture, unbelievable texture, unparalleled in the western world, in any world perhaps, but I can’t be a judge of it all. It’s fleeting and its beauty, as all real and deep beauty ought to be. A moment of excitement, then only a hold on our memories. As I sit to try to describe the taste after shooting down the only descriptor I know, I’m left wordless. I love it, and look how beautiful it is to be drawn. Tiny, baby particles held together, slightly perhaps, like our tongues, but the only similarity it has to our tongue is that they play so nicely together.

Framed within a solid wood shadow box frame with a floated mount and 2-inch reveal. With museum grade UV fitering plexiglass.
This is my favorite way to frame, the wood is simple and clean and the shadow box/floated mount makes the paper appear floating, not touching the back board nor glass.

Non-US shipping
We ship artwork worldwide via UPS or DHL. We do not collect duties on your behalf. Most countries collect additional taxes and import duties when the piece lands in your country.
