A Conversation Original

Something new. An original artwork, simplified yet layered, pencil on birch ply. Something ready to hang and ready to be delivered from one's hands onto another's. A gift. With alignment of Mothers Day, perfectly approaching with a deliberate amount of time to get it from our studio to you, and then to the woman who gives most, on Sunday May 10. For the Mothers who are foremost woman with lives and style and an identity and then a cherry get placed atop their frosting as they have their children. It’s for those mothers to whom I connect. For the ones who want art on their walls, and babies at their feet. Or for the ones who birthed us themselves, and as we grow, we understand them more, we hope for more time to converse with them, sit by them and learn from them as we ourselves fortunately or unfortunately, but inevitably, become them. A conversation, an empty seat with an invitation to connect. And a book to read as you wait for your company to fix the tea.
