Air France

When travel was glamorous. When ashtrays lay between passengers. When travel documents were something to keep. I am doing my best to bang up and sticker up my metal suitcase so that one day it can sit as a trunk does, a design object in a house that reminds you of times you traveled to foreign places. As an old luggage tag could do, or at least a drawing of such tag, immortalize a moment, a trip, a memory of a place. A beautiful place that will give you tax reimbursements for new things you overspent on. The airport isn’t a place of wonderment and relaxation, not a place of pure joy and patience, but it’s the ticket to somewhere warmer, cooler, more exotic or home, for that we will forgive it, and remember the destination more than it’s transit terminals. Charles De Gaulle - the entry to your first time Paris, where you fell in love.
