Call me a minimalist - for the first time in my life!? But I stumbled across this white pencil in my collection and well it changed the game. The humidity in Santa Teresa for the first 3 weeks I was here was that it was sprouting mold on my clothes. Not so great for my style, but excellent for my wax pencils. They became dense, ultra-pigmented, and almost oil pastel-like. I let the utensil do its thing. A white so dense on a paper so soft that it needed only the lightest shadow and a good dose of the right light, we have a minimalist welcome to my world.
