Hotel Nacional

I metaphorically travelled down to Cuba following Hemingway’s hotel journey. Whilst The Ritz in Paris was his destination for his most well-known works, in Cuba he wrote from Finca Vigía and the Ambos Mundos Hotel. Yet Ernest Hemingway frequented Cuba’s most glamorous Hotel Nacional de Cuba to hang at the bar, socialise and dwell on his writings. Over the 1930s and 40s, the bar was host to faces such as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Marlon Brando.
