Maybe it started with pregnancy, or maybe it was long before that, but it hasn’t subsided since I gave birth. It’s honed into an all-out obsession. It’s my obsession with the viewing and consequently tasting of sugar-based foods. Where some are plant-based, I like to be invited back to people’s homes for meals, so I eat everything and bring along something sweet for a post-meal-please-compliment-me moment. My gifts of cakes, desserts, biscuits and pies do not look like this lemon meringue pie slice.
