Clift was a frequent guest at the Chateau Marmont from 1949, often retreating there for privacy and solace during turbulent periods in his life. The hotel's discreet, bohemian atmosphere made it a haven for Clift and other troubled Hollywood icons seeking refuge from the spotlight.

Framing

Float mounted in a handmade American Walnut frame. Glazed with Tru Vue® Museum Glass®, featuring 99% UV protection and anti-reflective coating.
